Penn and Teller- Fool Us is a magic competition television show in which magicians perform tricks before American magician-comedian duo Penn & Teller. Its initial 2 seasons featured smooth host Jonathan Ross, and the 2nd season after that by Penn and Teller- Fool Us Host Alyson.
Every episode begins with an introduction that explains the reason for the series. Penn & Teller come out and sit down at center stage, and hopeful magicians perform their act before them in front of a an audience of live viewers. Following each show, Penn & Teller privately confer while the host interviews the magicians. Penn & Teller then reveal their knowledge of the method used to perform the trick, usually using cryptic words or by noting down the procedure and then presenting it to the magicians for confirmation, so that they won’t be divulging the method of the trick.

Fool Us was filmed at Fountain Studios in London, England (season one) and the Penn and Teller Theater in Las Vegas (season two onward).
